Hongdee Shines at Shanghai Optical Fair 2025

From February 20 to 22, 2025, I joined our Hongdee team at the Shanghai Optical Fair. This was one of the most important events for the ophthalmic industry in Asia. We took this chance to meet with clients, show our core products, and listen to what the market really wants. We met doctors, hospital managers, and professional distributors from all over the world. Many of them came to learn more about high-quality ophthalmic equipment made in China.

At the booth, we set up a clean and bright space to welcome visitors. We displayed some of our best-selling products: ophthalmic tables, slit lamps, and lensmeters. These are our core products that many of our partners rely on. Each one is made to be stable, easy to use, and ready for clinical work.

When customers came to our booth, we didn’t just let them look at the machines. We invited them to sit down and test everything themselves. Some visitors brought their own lenses and checked how our lensmeter worked. Others tried the slit lamp and told us how it felt to use. We let them touch the tables, feel how smooth the movements were, and listen to how quiet the motors sounded. That hands-on experience helped build trust right away.

One hospital director from South America told me that they were looking for tables that could last for years, even with high daily use. I showed him our upgraded model with reinforced frame and silent motor system. He tested it on the spot. After five minutes, he said, “This is exactly what we need.” That was one of the best moments of the show.

Another visitor from the USA, a distributor, asked me how fast we could deliver a bulk order. I explained that we keep key models in stock, and we can ship most orders within 7 to 10 days. He nodded and said, “That’s important. Other suppliers always delay.” Fast shipping and good service matter as much as product quality. We know this because our partners told us again and again.

We also had many questions about OEM and branding. Some clients want to build their own brand but need reliable products behind it. I told them that Hongdee offers OEM service with full support. During the show, I also met a doctor who runs a clinic in a small city. He said he didn’t have a big budget but needed equipment he could trust. That’s our promise. He looked surprised, then smiled. “It’s rare to hear that,” he said.

Some visitors also talked about problems they had with other suppliers. Broken packaging. Slow response. No follow-up. I understand those problems. I have seen how one weak link in the supply chain can hurt trust. That’s why we keep a full team focused on service. We reply fast, ship carefully, and follow up after the sale. If anything goes wrong, we fix it.

The three days at the fair went by fast. We talked to many new faces. Some deals started right there. Others will take more time. But what matters most is that people saw our products, felt the quality, and had real conversations with us. We didn’t just talk about features. We talked about needs, problems, and real work. That’s what we care about.
